What does 'Water Damage Diagnostic' mean?

Water damage can affect multiple parts of a device, e.g. screen & camera. We charge a deposit of €25 for water damage diagnostic. It works as follows:

  1. One of our expert repair technicians inspects your device.
  2. We call you to explain how water damage has affected your device.
  3. We give you a quote for the necessary repair work.
  4. If you agree to the quote, we proceed to repair your device.
  5. In this situation, we do not charge the diagnostic fee.
  6. If you don't want to repair your device, or wish to repair it elsewhere, we charge €25 for the standalone diagnostic service.

What is the difference between iPad LCD & Glass Repair?

The LCD is under the glass. If the LCD is broken, we take off the glass & replace the LCD. We then put the glass back on. If the glass is broken, but the LCD is operating as normal underneath, we only replace the glass. If both are broken, both have to be replaced.

Does my repair include a warranty?

All screen repairs include a comprehensive, 12-month warranty. Battery repairs include a 3-month warranty.

Why do you need my PIN or ID?

Our technicians need to verify that the device is in full working order. To do so, they perform a series of tests such as touch sensitivity, camera function, etc. At no time do they access your personal information or intrude on your privacy.

What should I do before handing over my device?

Whilst your device is in safe hands with us, it is best practice to back-up your device, & reset it to factory settings beforehand for security purposes.
